What every owner asks before signing up

Welcome video, 90 seconds
Coming soon to this page.

Who is this sign-up for?

For subcontractor companies that perform a specialty. General Contractors do not sign up here.

Does signing up guarantee work?

No. An approved profile receives invitations when there is a job matching the specialty, the region and the crew.

Who pays my company, and when?

PineLand hires and pays your company. Terms: [payment terms and retainage].

Do I need to speak English?

It is not required to introduce the company. We ask whether the field lead and the person who runs the company speak English, because some jobs need direct conversation with the superintendent, the lead who stays on site representing the General Contractor. The portal works in Portuguese, English and Spanish, and the demonstration job reviews the decision, not the writing or the accent.

Does applying or the preparation cost anything?

No. Introducing the company is free. When a job asks for crew preparation, PineLand runs the preparation for that project at no cost to your company.

When do I get an answer about prequalification?

Within [x] business days after the complete profile and documents. You follow the status in the portal.

How does my company ask for extra work?

Through the portal, before doing it. Extra work only counts with a change order approved in writing by PineLand, with scope, amount and schedule.

What if only part of the measurement is approved?

The approved part goes to payment. The pending part comes back with the written reason and what is missing to close it.

Can I decline an invitation when my crew is busy?

Yes. Declining an invitation does not remove your company from the network.

Who sees my documents?

[Data policy: who accesses the W-9 and COI, and how long they are kept].

Does my company stay independent?

Yes. You organize and run your crew. Each invitation states the access and identification rules of that job before you accept.
